[LIST] 12 Fun-filled Korean Drama Households We Would Love to Join

We know that many of the best Korean dramas don't just build the main couple, but they also create side characters we grow to love. One of the best ways to showcase the minor characters in a series is to toss them all together in one big house! Trapping opposites into a confined living space is a great recipe for both humor and emotional connection. In watching the hilarious K-drama roommates out there, we sometimes wish we could move in and join the fun. Here are 12 K-drama households we would love to join:

Note: This list only covers the drama households where 3 or more people live together, so it doesn't include all of those wonderful dramas where a man and woman share a house on their own.

1. It's Okay, That's Love

There are many reasons why this show topped the DramaFever Weekly Top 10 for much of its run, and those reasons aren't confined to the chemistry between leads Gong Hyo Jin and Jo In Sung. Fans loved all of the side characters in the shared house, especially Lee Kwang Soo's Soo Kwang. I would love to live in a house with these characters, but I would also settle for joining in on the cast's Thailand vacation.

2. Flower Boy Ramen Shop

If there's one trend in K-drama cohabitation, it's that one girl generally gets surrounded by a gang of handsome men. Flower Boy Ramen Shop takes full advantage of this setup, not only giving Yang Eun Bi a love triangle under her roof, but tossing in delightful comedic relief with Park Min Woo's "Crazy Rooster" and Jo Yoon Woo's "Angel Boy." Once you factor in the delicious ramen, you have what might be the best housing setup of all time.

3. Sungkyunkwan Scandal

Wait, she has to sleep sandwiched between Yoochun and Yoo Ah In? And Song Joong Ki might drop in at any moment? Where do we sign up for this school?

4. Discovery of Romance

As the Drama Club has pointed out, Joon Ho and Sol have quickly become some of the best characters on this show. Frankly, Han Yeo Reum seems like the obvious weak link in this house. Then again, it's her mom's house, so without her, we might not get Joon Ho accidentally barging in on Sol.

5. Rooftop Prince

Without Park Ha's guidance in their rooftop home, this time travelling gang from the Joseon era would have been totally lost in the modern day. Fortunately, she was able to teach them the ways of tracksuits and omurice.

6. Answer Me 1994

On the other hand, if I could travel through time, I wouldn't bother going to the Joeson era. Nope, I would go straight to 1994 Seoul and live at this boardinghouse. First of all, the parents are, quite possibly, the best parents on any drama ever. Second, I would love to share a house with Oppa—no, wait, Chilbongi—no, Oppa—no...Haetae? In any case, it sounds like a fun time.

7. You Are Beautiful

For most people, being trapped in a house full of handsome musicians would be exciting, but if you're a nun pretending to be a boy, it gets a little awkward. That didn't stop her from having dreams about her roommates, though!

8. Protect the Boss

Not all of the roommate situations involve a gang of men. No Eun Sol and Lee Myung Ran have been rough-and-tumble besties for years. Tossing in the clueless and spoiled Seo Na Yoon sounds like a recipe for disaster, but it actually helped us love her character more! That's a pretty rare occurrence when it comes to second female leads.

9. Blade Man

The very first time we meet Shin Se Kyung's Son Se Dong, she's trying to hide her pack of male roommates from her landlord. She's definitely the leader of this ragtag group, finding ways to get them out of trouble. They may be trouble, but at least they're funny!

10. Dream High

I don't know if living in a house with Suzy's, Taecyeon's, and Kim Soo Hyun's talented characters from Dream High would be amazing or intimidating. With Uhm Ki Joon as the parent figure, it might just be worth it, just as long as they didn't force me to do a family talent show or anything.

11. Boarding House No. 24

This new series premieres on Wednesday, and from what we have seen so far, it looks like the house will be filled with interesting personalities.

12. Roommate

This isn't technically a drama, but watching everyone interacting in the same house is the entire draw of the show! When the producers announced that they would be bringing in new roommates for season 2, quite a few fans wished they could join the Roommate family.
